SPARKLERS - During one scene, we have to light a sparkler, that is in a big, crazy drink, at an exact time so that Brandon, as Charlie, can enter and deliver his punchline. We have a box of wooden matches, a long lighter, and two Bic lighters. The first night Leslie lights it with no problems. The second night, the long lighter burns out and she uses matches. The next night she uses matches and it won't light at all. Brandon enters on cue, without the sparkler lit, and remembers that he has a lighter in his pocket. He lights the sparkler onstage, saves the bit and they went on with the show.
