COME IN CLARK! COME IN!
We employ headsets backstage, which allow the Stage Manager to stay in touch with any personnel in the balcony. During this performance, Carey was in the balcony doing sound and Clark was there with the spotlight. During one intermission, Clark took off his headset and he and Carey settled back for a little break, some popcorn and soda. Matt flashed the houselights alerting everyone, including these two, that we had five minutes to curtain. Carey and Clark never noticed the lights flashing, and so didn't start the sound cues. Leslie couldn't get a hold of them using the headset, so finally, after the intermission had gone into 20 minutes, Fran ran from backstage up to the balcony to get their attention. She noticed that the headset was on a seat by itself. Hope everyone enjoyed the extra five minutes!

WELL, UM...

At the moment, there are no special events planned. We're not sure why. Can we get back to you? We are sort of tied up with "Fractured Valentine" at the moment, and then there's the laundry and the housework. I think Dave's car needs an oil change. We'll get back to you, ok?
